Great. I have some photos of old, Ivory grip panels that came with a first generation Colt SAA I'd like to post, to see if anyone here might recognize the artist's work. My father got the gun as a gift around 1953, and that's just before I was old enough to look at it or handle it. The ivory looked a lot brighter then, but I don't know how recently (or not) they'd been carved, or even whether they were the work of an American artist, or Mexican--but the quality of the work is more detailed than anything else I've seen on old SAA's.If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful if they'd share them with me!

on this forum. It will handle image sizes up to 1,000 X 1,000 pixels and up to 100 kilobytes in file size. Just click the "upload" button to the right of the message composition window.
