Hmmm, interesting. (reply)

yep, diameter. I think some of the extra length in the Powermag is due to it being recessed. The new model SBH is not recessed.

By "width", I assume diameter which puts them neck and neck. But the Power Mag is a skosh longer...probably not a real issue.....maybe even an advantage (ain't rationalization great?).

Totally irrational notion but Numerich shows stock on both the .401 cylinders and barrels and, if a feller had an extra Blackhawk.......well, he could do something completely silly!

Thank you Sir!

how do you know when it goes off?

If you're feeling ambitious or bored one day, I would be curious to know how the Power Mag cylinder compares to the Blackhawk relative to length and diameter. I've never held them side-by-side but always got the impression they were pretty close.

As soon as I find Ernie's card (Clips N' Grips), I'll give him a call about your grip panel/stocks/grippy things.

Hmmm...no luck but... (reply)

It is a .357 Powermag with a fitted 9mm cylinder. My understanding is that the frame etc. is the same for the .357, the .401, and the .44 mag. Any help would be great.
