I have a copy of Hell I WAS THERE that my sister in law gave me in 1987. It has been read and re read several times. This book came out of a church thrift shop.

I purchased an autographed copy signed by Elmer Keith March 8 1980.
Found this book, which has the original dust jacket, in the Whittington Center used book shelf $25.00.

Guess which one is the most protected.

I got Wolfes poor imitation of "Sixguns" for my last birthday. I need to scrounge up an affordable original copy so I can see what's in the pictures. The book looks like a simple photocopy to me.

I have an original copy of "Hell, I was there", so I'm comfortable saying that the original photos from those days were legible.
