 Neptune's Inferno (naval battles around Guadalcanal, in stark detail), Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors (The battle of US Escort Carriers and Destroyers against the mightiest battleships in the pacific) and Ship of Ghosts; the USS Huston, flagship of our Asiatic fleet...along with Dutch, British and Australian cruisers went down fighting the overwhelming Japanese fleet. <br />

<title>Interesting book.......</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>........Icelandic sagas are on your reading list, try &quot;The King of Vinland's Saga&quot;.</p>
<p>It was written in 2003 by a fellow who is well versed in the subject. Like most sagas, it can be a bit dry in spots, but I found it quite entertaining.</p>
