I had to renew it last year, and will renew it for the rest of my life if possible.

It's inexpensive to get, and downright cheap to renew ($10 and a new passport photo to renew). I would be perfectly legal to carry with my UT CFP here in Texas, but went ahead and got the TC CHL as well.

A couple of states don't recognize the Utah CFP since it doesn't require live fire qualification.

If your state recognizes the UT CFP, or it expands the number of states you can carry in, it's a no brainer.

If I pay them a hunnert bucks for the class, will it be worth it?
