in Miami Vice, my best friend in college, Kirby, wanted one of those so bad it was painful. This 1984ish.

We would sit by the soda machine in Hill Hall, next to the Coke machine, and talk about them sometimes for an hour, between his psych classes, and my poli sci. He got a brochure.

He never got one. You can easily get a 10mm Tanfoglio now which duplicates the major points of the platform, and no one ever talks about those. He never saw one, and I, to this day, have never seen one.

To me, Rob, handling one would be a very big deal, let alone shooting one. I got to shoot an Automag, and it was less exciting than a Bren 10 would be to me.

Part of me is still fit, broke, easily impressed, optimistic, and 24.
