The letter for my Redhawk said pretty much the same Strangely, the letter said that my Redhawk was produced in Sept. 1980, not manufactured. This puzzles and annoys me a bit because it's a low 3 digit S/N, and should have been from the first production run in 1979.

I know. First world problems .

The ROA letter I saw gave a "Shipped to" bit of info as well (reply)

other than that just the date of manufacture, etc. Pretty basic, but then you're only spending $10 2022 A.D. dollars...

I got a Ruger letter about 6 years ago for an OM Blackhawk (reply)

.45 that had a brass grip frame.

All it could tell me was the ship date and that it left the factory as a 4 5/8" model. No mention of anything else. Not much of a help but it was only $10.

that Ruger is now doing letters. The poster posted about a Ruger Old Army that was made in 1981. Said it cost him $10 for the letter.

Hi all, I have this 6.5 barrel flatop .357 #25412 I lost the link I had to date it , I was just thinking maybe someone here would know what year it was made??
