9mm run close to 100 per pound ... (reply)

I figured it out when a friend said he would send me a few empty 9mm's. I got a box that weighed a little over 22 pounds! I still don't have them all loaded! I do know that a thousand loaded 9mm's weighs over 30 pounds.

easy to figure with a scale (reply)

Having several tumblers, I made a chart to keep up with how many of what each one could hold under a load.

45 Automatic brass show's an average of 78 cases per pound. Hope that's of some help.

easy to figure with a scale (reply)

Just weigh 10 of them and then weigh the whole lot. Weighing 10 first then divide by 10 and you come up with the weight each. you might be off by a couple, but you would be darn close.
