It worked great and actually improved the recoil. I did go ahead and put a recoil pad on it to lenghten it a little.

WELL I just got a set of Ram line stock and forearm with the parts I purchased. It should go together Great.BBL cleaned up well one rough spot but should clean up. It will be a shooter soon.Thanks Everyone. J.Michael

WELL I was fooled buy the leaf springs in the action, Removed enough rust today to see the SER # is 4493092 and well post 1964 . I still need a beater stock set wood or plastic any usable condition.
