So I'm scheduled for a test run with my buddy and his suppressed.5.56 pistol, then it's goodbye money I guess.

KDM on a .308 quiet as a mouse. Suppressed is fun and it doesn't cause Ringing in your ears.

It makes a huge difference, especially on a short 5.56. (reply)

The idea of opening up with a 10" 5.56 in a bedroom makes me cringe - and i am already mostly deaf.

I have short 5.56s, 300BLKs, and one PSA 9mm. While inexpensive, i have about 1,000rnds through the 9mm with not one single malf. Using magpul mags.

Will try to attach pics next. All are KDM stainless cans.

No plans to supress? Maybe.....? (reply)

I know that would calm both of them down quite a bit, but I'm not sure if I want to make the commitment to our Overlords.

There are a LOT of people here abouts with cans, and a close friend has both an AR 5.56 pistol and several suppressors. Won't make the decision until I play with his first.

A different take on home defense.....

https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-gen4-8-9mm-1-10-gx-m-lok-moe-ept-shockwave-pistol1....

One of these followed me home, and I didn't even have to ask if I could keep it!

There is a SIG Romeo red dot waiting to be installed on this bad boy, plus a linear compensator is on the way.

I have a 5.56mm pistol that will probably be reworked into a rifle now. The muzzle blast on it is quite enthusiastic, to say the least. The 9mikemike version should serve in its place very well.
