What is your recipe. I use 1/3 each beeswax, tallow, and olive oil. I have substituted corn oil with no real difference.

I go the the butcher and get a big can of hard fat and render it out.

I feel your pain. Everytime I follow the wife into hobby lobby with the resolve to pay the exorbitant price for beeswax, I walk out with four times as much soy wax for less price. Thinned with goop waterless hand cleaner at melting, the soy works almost as well as beeswax.
