John was kind enough to let me shoot his Super 38 at CAS a few years ago. It "flung a cravin' on me" as Jerry Clower used to say, that continues to this day and has cost me a bunch of money. Some of the result is stickin' in my waistband as I type this.

Super 38s are addictive........

......but he set the price before I could open my mouth.

We have bought guns from him before, all proved clean. Apparently his father, or grandfather passed away and left these with him. Every few months he sells one off. Yesterday he came in with a NEW set of Colt Lady Deringers, gold plated, faux pearl, consecutive serial numbers. Not my cup of tea, but cute and collectible. Asked for a $100 bill and got it (of course).

He has a smart phone, but apparently doesn’t know what it is for.......

Yikes! Well, glad it went to a good home, even if that means it's less likely I'll get to coonfinger it some day. A friend up north has one just about like that. Immaculate condition. Seems he had it evaluated and they told him it's worth three G's... but his has the magazine.

It is in much better shape than the photos reflect, probably about 95% plus.

Not mine, sold it to a professor friend from the local college.

Just came into the shop......you won’t believe what the fellow asked for it. It’s ours now, and already sold to a happy new owner
