If hollywood ever cast a character who was not southern to play you they would seriously ham the accent and would sound like foghorn leghorn with a mouthful of marbles. This is something that film makers can never seem to get right, hiring canadians and sending them to dialect lessons even with scores if not hundreds of southern actors needing work.
