When my boy went back to the war the second time, Teresa and I signed up for the Marine Corp Marathon. Figured if THEY could do it for us, we could do it for THEM.

Great event...lots of beautiful Marines in full dress on the sidelines...Marine NCO uniform is so cool....

Over 30,000 people...Americans Marathon....too many middle aged women with pictures of their killed children on the back of their shirts....big damn deal...

Congrats on gittin' 'er done! Now sign up for a Warrior Dash mudder...take it to a whole new level....

OT I entered my first marathon just this morning

Starting gun went off at 06:00 for us full marathon walkers here's a picture of me before the starting gun in a very rainy setting and another of me 6 hours four mins and twenty seconds later crossing the finnish line. I was kinda disapointed as I was hopeing to get in under six hours and just missed. After a soak in the tub a bite to eat I find I am still a very old man,but am still liveing the dream. Dennis
