a cigarette...Get picked off, rapidly, by advancing Germans...The One soldier, that we see through the rest of the film, makes it to the French lines...and then to the beach...

Rob, I saw it last night but I was about 5 minutes late. Did I miss a big battle scene? I'm wondering if I need to go back and see it again.

He was a swab and appreciated the nautical scenes... The "Messerschmidt" wasn't, it was a Hispano Buchon, but I won't kick about that. Good movie.
