How is (reply)

Jack doing these days? I ended up with his USFA Double Eagle that he had Bowen tune up and Nutmeg Sports fit ivories to. He also gave me some good advice on engravers when I last talked to him since I was looking for an engraver for the light weight USFA project.

New Revolver In The House

Nice 2" S&W 64 arrived today from Jack Fowler aka Honest Arch. I put on a pair of old Westinghouse Micarta grips and a Tyler T-Grip and stepped over to the range to shoot it. I like it very much. I bought my first 2" Model 10 in 1965 but didn't hang on to it. I bought another in 1994 but it slipped out of my hands also. I am thinking this one will stay, but I will shoot several hundred more rounds it to bond with the revolver before buying leather from Rob.
