Paul, Jared is spot on.... (reply)

Depending on serial numbers, there could be a little added value in them, but baring any major rarity, he's spot on.

Not to sound self-serving, but... (reply)

I agree with Jared as well. I'm interested in the Hi Power and possibly the S&W 28-2, depending on what prices you settle on.

Looking for Some Pricing Guidance (reply)

The market has seemed to dropped a little.

A 6" 28 with some finish wear is a $500-600 revolver for me tops. If you have the box and papers it might sell for a little more. I see people asking more but they don't seem to sell.

I have heard that the High Power market is down as well but don't really follow it closely. I would guess that is a $700-800 pistol but again don't follow the market all that closely and there could be some desirable features.

The bearcat is probably a $400-500 package.

I would guess $200-300 on the H&R.

Pictures help sell easier so that would help develop some interest.

Looking for Some Pricing Guidance

Seeing as I got no responses at all to the for sale ads I posted below, I am guessing I missed on pricing those two items quite significantly. So, I'll ask what reasonable prices might be on the following, all of which I'm looking to move as I really don't use them anymore:

1. S&W Model 28-2 .357 6" in about 97% condition (cylinder turn line and a very small rub on one side of the muzzle)

2. Belgian Browning Hi-Power 9mm in about 98% condition, probably early 1970s if I read the dating codes correctly, with pouch and extra magazine.

3. Ruger Bearcat (the first version with the brass trigger guard) in about 95% condition (muzzle rub on each side, cylinder turn line) with the red cardboard box but nothing else from the original packaging.

4. H&R Sportsman 999 .22 in 98% condition (cylinder turn line). This is the early version with the firing pin on the hammer, not the later version.

Thanks for your help.

Rem
