Made in 1957 and corrected for a proper barrel length. Rob Leahy made me the holster for a current model .44 Special Blackhawk, but the old timer fits just perfect.

$100 in 1956 = $882 today (reply)

Where, in the past, these shooter grade guns would get snapped up, the introduction of the New MOdel flat-tops has really killed the market for those shooter grade guns, as folks can get a NM for their shooters, or base guns for projects. The boxed and crispy/minty guns are still bringing good money, as the market there hasn't changed with the collectors.

Of course, the rare barrel lengths (10" for 357 and 44, and 7.5" for 44), are still bringing good money.

for a new home. Being a 6 1/2" gun I would be surpised if it brings that price as well. I sold it's twin last month for I think $875. Now if it were a 7 1/2" gun! That would be a different story.

The OM Flattys are dead weight without box and papers. Location may vary the price a bit, but $1000+ seems a bit hopeful.
