I took it off when I put the XS rear peep on the rifle. I'll have a look for it if you want to give it a try.

Not sure if it will help but the Rossi 92's don't have a standard dovetail either. They are a little wider. Maybe one for a Rossi 92 will fit.

Brownells doesn't carry it...Numrich is out of stock. I'm missing the dovetail and rear sight. I've read that dovetail is NOT a correct copy of the original 62.

I'm not opposed to a tang sight but still want the correct rear sight.
