<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hornet is shooting good at indoor range with iron sights.  Haven't really wrung it out yet and certainly not at any real distance.</p>
<p>I went through all the .38-55 loads and some did not fire as we experienced in Raton.  Not sure yet why but it is the same vintage and source as the pistol primers that didn't work last week.  Weird.  I'm going to load some more with newer primers and try that.  Maybe the primers were too hard for that hammer spring?</p>

<title>Scoping a baby Sharps...</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I've got a couple of baby Sharps...a 38-55 and a 22 Hornet.  I've been wanting to scope the Hornet but haven't figured out what to do.  The vintage type Malcolm scopes interested me until I read so many reviews about how bad they are.  So I'm undecided.  </p>
<p>What options would you recommend?</p>
