Folks:

Got a Colt Cobra with the following serial number:

688XX
B
LW

Now I know that LW means light weight and that suffix stopped after 1969. The capital B has me scratching my head.

Anyone out there have an inkling as to what it means and when the gun was manufactured?

The barrel is clearly marked Cobra. A 2 incher.
