I recently picked up a Buntline Special (1982) that has the original grips (hard plastic).

They are OK with smaller calibers such as a .38 Special, but with a .45, the left hand side grates the inner part of my right thumb. Not comfortable at all.

I am looking for smooth ivory polymer or wooden grips. Anyone one got something that might fit? Is a trade possible? I could see myself tossing in a few extra bucks if need be.
