I had one when they first came out, great stove but it rusted out in about one year. if it were made of stainless steel I would buy one and be happy. but I think they make more money when the product rust out in a year , thinking you would buy a new one. my 2 cents.

Guy came into the shop wanting some cash. Sold the shop a bunch of tools, standard fare for the going prices. Then the fellow mentioned that he had a Volcano stove he wanted to sell, but my boss wasn't interested. I said I might like it myself so I went out to the fellow's car to take a look.

There it was, new in the box. We have done a fair amount of business with this guy, so I was sure it was his (he is a self-sufficient, survival guy). Asked him price for this:

He said he had tried peddling it to all his buddies with no luck, and would be happy with $20. I offered him more, and he insisted on $20.
