Star PD Recoil Springs & Shock Buffers?

Looking for information on what rate recoil spring is best for the Star PD. According to the Wolff site, the original spring was rated at 12lbs. They offer recoil springs from 14 to 22lbs. I'm not sure which one I should select.
https://www.gunsprings.com/STAR/PD%20.45%20ACP/cID1/mID61/dID280

I'm also looking for some replacement Shock Buffers. I've found some old postings on a few forums that replacements could be had by contacting: jim-dawg AT comcast DOT net

I've sent a couple of e-mails but have not received any replies.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
~JM~
