The stroke seems to have affected a large portion of the right side of her brain. The heart damage is worse than they thought. They cannot treat it until the brain clot is dealt with. She is slowly losing consciousness; if that goes too far she will have to be put on life support.

"It's midnight and I haven't had any sleep to speak of in 2 days so this will be kinda short.
Twyla apparently had a heart attack 2 weeks ago. Dr. Eric suspected but we did not have definite proof. The test that would have determined that was lost in transit between Pemba and Maputo and we never got it.
Some time after that it seems a blood clot broke loose and she suffered a stroke.
She is in the hospital receiving Great Care! And I am going to sleep and will update you all more tomorrow.
