'Traditionally" I think it looks odd, in reality I think it would be a lot more useful than the one I have.

I had a short fat rolling block that I really miss. It was heavy, but still handy. That Sharps in the auction reminds me of that.

Time and again, people prove they will pay more for a used Shiloh than wait for a new one they order. Can't say that I blame them.

I prefer a 32 inch barrel, and I like half round half octagon.... It just looks better to me. I also prefer the pistol grip stock of the long range express as it makes it easier to hold up one of these heavy beasts. Apart from that I like the rest of the features, and it's a beautiful rifle!!!!!!

I might like it a couple inches longer but 26" is nicer to store in safe. I was surprised to see that shipping was only $19!

I almost bought a Shiloh 45-120 recently. My next 2 purchases will probably be a Shiloh Sharps and a suppressed 300 Blackout AR. That's covering a wide range.

I shot one a few years ago at our local cas shoot. The man that owned it could nail a gallon jug at two hundred yards with bp loads. I cannot even see that far.
