<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The only problem with using that or the .375 JDJ in a Winchester or Marlin is you are limited to short nose bullets. Most .375 bullets are fairly long and tend to make an unmanageable OAL when seated in a full length .444 case necked down for the lever actions.  </p>
<p>The .375 JDJ is an excellent carbine cartridge. Roger uses one in a contender carbine and has killed a bunch of stuff with it. His wife carried it to Africa last year and shot several plains game.</p>
