They are out there. I saw a 6&1/2" model 16 in the showcase in McBrides in Austin a few years ago. It was in collectable condition with the correct grips and they had it priced for $280. I started to buy it, but I don't shoot that caliber and was warned by someone who did, they were addictive. I did not need a new caliber addition, so I left it for the person who's grail gun it might be. I hope that is who found it and not some scalper.

I see one on gunbroker now for $1500.00. I really would like the one local but way too much money for me to justify on it. I didn't even handle it for that reason. I wouldn't be able to give it back!!!

My local dealer has a S&W model 16 in .32 H&R with a 8 3/8" barrel. Not sure I have ever seen one locally before. The price is steep but I'm sure we'll worth in $1200.00. If interested contact me.
