Doug, I have an A3 (yes, A3, not A5) that would probably be ideal for just such a conversion. No Poly Choke, this one has a Weaver Choke. No rib, Garand style safety, we can discuss a price you would enjoy.

Or a budget priced A-5. I'm looking for one to Form 1 into a short barreled shotgun. So, metal finish isn't too importiant as long as it's not badly pitted and a nice example with a Poly-Choke type of deal on the end would be a bonus. That way I don't feel bad about cutting it down!

If you have one taking up space that you haven't used in awhile, let me know. I assure you it will be well loved and appreciated for years to come!
