If it's no trouble, yes please. That would give me 4 data points: yours, Jared's, mine and Numrich's single part number. A feller could be pretty certain with that!

Then it comes to fitting it all up. I have brass and proper hollow base bullets. It ought to be some kind of fun!

My New Service was originally a .455 Eley which had been 'shaved'. I sourced an untouched .455 cylinder with ejector and rod. However, the ejector star does not screw down tightly, as if the threads are stripped. Fella on GB has an ejector for a 1917 and I was hoping they were the same beastie. Mine measures just as yours does.

Thanks again!

Colt 1917 request. (reply)

I measured mine. They are about .080" thick +- near the ratchet, and they taper to about .070" at the tip of the star.

Colt 1917 request.

Can someone with a Colt 1917 please measure the thickness of the ejector "arms" for me? I am trying to figure out if the ejector star is the same for .45 ACP, .45 Colt and .455 Eley. Numrich lists only a single part number but I'd like to be more sure.

No rush at all. This is a back shelf project.

Thank you!
Hoot
