(reply) My specific knowledge, along with the rest of my world, quits at around 1985. This was the factory issue when they first came out, but then the custom houses like Lew Horton started contracting special models of all kinds. Not to mention S&W getting in on some of that action too. So this gun with Hogues and a ramp sight as a factory issue gun would not surprise me a bit, though I don't remember having owned one, which doesn't mean I haven't.:)
