sorts of other large game......the notorious cattle kiiller/man killer grizzly Old Ephraim was brought down by 44/40 fired by a revolver and i am sure the 45 colt did at least as well.

I always have wondered back in the day how manny griz bears were killed with a Single Action Army and the black powder 45 Colt load with a 250 grainer. No reporting on stuff like that back then.

big trouble for the bear, that is. a 7 foot grizzly; winchester 94, remington 150 gr through the heart and down it went.
