I have not spent loads of time with it yet. (reply)

Miss Meodie REALLY likes it and that's what was important. She shoots well with it.

I find the trigger a bit "crunchy" and the rear sight looks like molded plastic which seems out of place at this price point. It works but I can see an upgrade in its' future. Magazines are unobtanium at this point and it only comes with one...another oddity at the price point, IMO.

We'll play with it a bit more this summer, try some different bullet shapes, see if the trigger smooths out any and report back.

Edited to add: Jeff Quinn did a review on Gunblast around SHOT Show time. Here => http://www.gunblast.com/Browning-1911-380.htm

Attn: Simply Rugged Rob

Have you done any holsters for the Browning 1911-380 yet? I believe it is identical to the 1911-22 (both are here at Casa Hoot and I see no difference).

This would be for Miss Melodie. Thinking along the lines of a strong side OWB carry. Prolly the Cuda or your best suggestion. No flaps or straps...plain and simple, utilitarian...maybe something "simply rugged".
