Kydex is practical and tough, but a "traditional" knife design like the bowie just don't look right in anything but leather. Kinda like a blued and cased SAA in Kydex.

Like Uncle Jesse said one time: "It's like settin' in church without yer shirt on - hit jest don't feel right somehow!"

Glad you like it, I thought the handle had a good shape also. Certain knives need a leather sheath for sure, but I don't have the time to do leather working, I'll leave that to Rob @ SR.

Matter of fact from here on out I will only offer a knife with a sheath if kydex works with that style/type of knife. Have had several knives sell and the buyer didn't want the kydex sheath, a lot of wasted time I could be doing other things.

Hey Gunner

Got the bowie yesterday afternoon. That is a FINE knife. Great balance, just the right size, and the handle fits my hand perfectly. I had been thinking about getting something like this for a while, and this one is just right.

Deserves a fancy sheath, though. Winter project coming up!

Thanks a bunch!
