Showedn up in my right lung during treatement for Pneumoua. Just finished a pet Scan and Mri of the head bone to see if it's spred past the lung. Also have to do a Bio of the lymph nodes in the chest. If it has not spread treatment will amount to removal of the mass from the Lung. Very scary at 81 but not as bad as yours.Paryers on for both of us. Good Luck. Jack

We are right there with you. Our four year old is also stage three, and faces a similar regimen. We started his first cycle on Wednesday night.

We will keep you and your family in our thoughts as we all progress through these ordeals, and I look forward to exchanging notes that you and he are both cancer free in short order.

OT -- Stage III Cancer

Got the news late last week that my nasopharyngeal cancer is considered Stage III -- large tumor in the head and cancer cells have migrated south to the lymph glands on both sides of my neck. Lungs are clear.

I am preparing for a 7-week course of chemo-radiation: concurrent chemo and radiation treatment. After that I have 3 more months of adjutant chemo, which is done in-hospital for a 5-day stretch every month or so.

Still shooting. On Saturday I shot a league course at an indoor range and on Sunday went cowboy shooting with the Hole in the Boot Gang in Quinton, NJ. Wonderful anti-cancer prescription.
