I caved and spent about an hour trying to reestablish my "bona fides" with eBay and PayPal. It was an exercise in frustration to say the least. Fortunately, one of the Brothers took pity on me (actually a couple offered) and offered to buy them in my stead. They should be arriving in the next couple of days.

Now I suppose I'll actually have to load something and go shoot it. Oh yeah, it's for the 7mm Ackley Magnum I picked up a while back.

.......they told me I HAD to have a bank account on file, instead of just a credit card. Um, excuse me? The credit card paid out every time, on time, and in full. But no, I have to relinquish control of a bank account as well. Sorry, don't think so, not with the draconian means by which eBay handles disputes.

Many eBay auctions allow for non-members to use "buy it now". I use that as a guest from time to time, but until eBay lets me participate by the sole means of a credit card for payment, then can spin on a pointy stick while waiting for my membership.

I quit my eBay account years ago when they came out and banned all gun parts, reloading stuff, etc. Well, now a 'net search turns up a set of obscure dies needed here at Casa Hoot, at a VERY attractive price, on line, right-stinkin-now. Dang it, I hate going back on my word....
