FS: Colt Officers Model 38, Heavy Barrel, 38 Spec

FS: Colt Officer's Model 38 Special, Heavy Barrel. S/N is 625708, which puts it around 1938. It sports an incorrect set of later vintage grips (Python?) that show wear. The rear sight has been opened up slightly and the front sight blade was replaced with a gold bead blade front sight. It actually makes for a quite a good, and fast, sight picture.

Lock up is tight, timing is good, bore is great. Just a good, clean shooter grade Officers Model with the Heavy Barrel. These suckers usually shoot great. I have not shot this one, I got it in on a trade.

Asking $625, shipped to your FFL or C&R.

First "I'll take it" email to me at bigbore45colt @ ptd.net (remove the space in front of and after the @) gets it. Payment by USPS Money Order, or certified funds. I am going to list this on a few other places, to maximize exposure. If unsold after a few days, I will take it to auction.

Thanks for looking!
