<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I considered that, but weight is my main consideration.</p>
<p>I got my 642 down to 12.2 oz by installing a Ti cylinder, and picking lighter grips.  I love it.</p>
<p>If S&amp;W made the Nightguards with Ti cylinders, it would be a done deal, but they chose stainless to bring the weight UP.</p>
<p>I love the sights, but hate the locks.</p>
