I considered that, but weight is my main consideration.

I got my 642 down to 12.2 oz by installing a Ti cylinder, and picking lighter grips. I love it.

If S&W made the Nightguards with Ti cylinders, it would be a done deal, but they chose stainless to bring the weight UP.

I love the sights, but hate the locks.
