My bunch was seated at Caer Ruther in what is now Annandale, and were already accomplished cattle thieves and feudists. They made out pretty well until old James came along and "pacified" the borders by hanging some of the more active reivers and exiling the rest.

Not that Lee is old, but spell check corrects Jurras to (reply)

Yes that's old, but the name dates back to Royality in Holland in th 1500's, The Royal family decided to send the best stonecutters to the isle of Brac off the northern Greek coast to cut granite for what was to become the Hague. Jurras is a rather popular name in Greece. But we are not Greek.
Col Askins asked me once why I never told him I was Greek. Told him the above story. His daughter married a Greek guy, and that's how he found out about the name. FWIW dept.

The most useless firearm I have ever encountered

Dad bought two 22s sight unseen from a local couple, elderly folks who needed the money. He picked them up yesterday, and we took them to the range today. The Beretta 948 was a surprise and a delight. In spite of the tiny sights it is easy to shoot fairly well with. The Hy-Hunter Automatic Derringer in 22 Short however, makes we want to purchase a sturdy sock in which to place a cue ball sized rock as a backup. Bad, tiny sights, a 3" sight radius and a trigger pull of around 15#s, conservatively, and a tiny cartridge adds up to a bad outcome for everyone involved.
