Thanks for sharing, Slow Hand. I think that I better not get into a hurry to buy anything. I've generally been more inclined to buy something used than to buy it new. I hate being the first one to put scratches on the finish.

thanks Andrew. It seems that some folks have had a bad time with theirs. I see that a different store in town has the same item for $399 + tax. I'm feeling less inclined now. You might have saved me from myself.

I have a GSG 1911 that I shoot suppressed nearly 100% of the time. It is pretty accurate and has functioned just fine even thought it's horribly bunked up. I'm sure I've got a couple thousand rounds through it. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's the same manufacturer as the SIG and Colt models. I want to say I paid $350 for mine butt hats been a couple years back.

Has anyone here handled the Sig 1911 in .22? If you have, what was your opinion of them? A local dealer has a NIB Sig 1911 in 22 and is asking six ½ Franklins for it. I can't research it on the net to see if the Quinn brothers have anything written on it, so I am wondering if someone on here knows anything about it.
