float trip... I had to loan out a AK Church gifted Colonial Jump knife and a Desert Storm era Black Knife...the springs were Almost worn out, after three days of constant opening and closing by the gleeful little rascals...

our referring physicians, who are mostly our friends as well. we try to give something better than chocolates, etc. and this year, since they became legal for every day carry in our state as of september 18, we gave SWITCHBLADE pocket knives:

they are good quality, open instantly, and even have a little safety you can use [ so you dont neuter yourself when carrying it in your pocket, i guess ]

we bought 90 of these and had our logo and clinic name put on them. the response has been overwhelming.....every one is thrilled and delighted....even a few curmudgeonly sorts have smiled ear to ear while snapping the blade open repeatedly.

we have been thanked over and over and called on the phone to find out where to order them [ got them wholesale at under 40% of retail price ]

i have one too of course ! not a single negative comment. those [ mostly females ] who are less interested can have a little fitness computer gadget that cost even more.....most however just are thrilled with the knife.

my theory is most of us MDs secretly wanted to be 'punks' when growing up, but were studious nerds [ we had to be ] and so now we are tickled to get to play with the switchblades
