...praying for the family, and your boy. When I was about that age, one of my best friends went out into a field and blew his head off with a shotgun, all over some dumbass chick! It still hurts me to think about it, 35-odd years later.

Im sorry to be making a post like this. His mother called my wife this morning. He didn't get up for school on Thursday morning and his younger brother found him in dead in bed. He used a handgun his mom and dad gave him as a present and trusted him to keep in his dresser. He was 15 years old. He was also one of my younger sons best friends. My son has never made friends easily and he's on a school trip. We haven't told him yet.

I don't want to burden or upset anyone, but I know there are men who pray here. Pray for Maria, Scott and their younger son Kenny. This is a very hard time for them.
