I ran it as far up the flagpole as I cared too.
With no makers mark, or caliber markings, all I was really bidding on was a nice looking gun and a story. The omitted markings really hurt its value IMHO.
I bid it up tp $1100 delivered. Past that, id rather spend twice as much, and KNOW what im buying.

I may have been too hasty in my conclusion. There's been a Gallagher in a .45 wildcat on there a long time. This might not be the one I was thinking about.

I've been watching their auctions for
Awhile and had t seen it. They do mention it's a consignment so maybe the owner lowered the price on it finally.
