Surgery was successful, and the mass was removed with safe margins. Preliminary pathology confirms that the tumor was either hepatoblastoma or a transitional type, of which little is understood. Possibly, but hopefully not, hepatocellular carcinoma.

Now we'll wait until our guy comes up with a plan... possibly infusions of Gemox, or maybe irradiation. Something is preferable to nothing, but there is no script at this point.

Now, back to uneventful living for a few days!
