We are home for the weekend so he can play with his dog and lead us in camp firing and burger grilling.

Back to Cincinnati on Monday for a brain scan and then lung resection on Thursday, then we wait for pathology. His doctors and surgeons are among the best in the country, and will come up with a good plan, but at this point none of the chemicals have worked so we may be left only with irradiation. I also asked them to look at any/all nontraditional methods, including radical diet changes, blue lights, herbology... shoot, at this point I'd even try chanting.

When I awakened this morning I was disappointed to realized that it hadn't been just a bad dream.
