There was a bad accident near my house last night. One fatality and two very badly injured, one of whom is a friend's son. He just joined our local sheriff's department as a patrol deputy this year and was doing a great job. His injuries are extensive, to the point he may lose one or both legs. Prayers are needed for all involved.
