Why does it seem to crash so often? Or is it being hacked? Not sure what is happening, but it has been going on for years, and the same issues very rarely affect this forum?

On the last long outage that Andy claimed apologetically was 7 days was in fact 11 days if you ciphered the elapsed time between the last post before the outage & the first post after the restoration.

Way back, the wholly volunteering (thank you!) moderators worked tirelessly then would have the paid tech. to put it right. Currently, 3 to 4 days into an outage I post here and the moderators seem unaware or reply that it is back operational. When I try it then I still get nothing or at least am unable to login.

or with the registration .. though it could be other things.

If it were just the Forum, www.leverguns.com would still be available. And always was during the other long shutdown. This time and the last one, nothing is. So it's more than just an issue with the Forum.

It would be nice if the homepage was edited to delete the sponsors that are no longer in business....several are deceased. The worldwide hunting outfitter now sells condos on the gulf coast.

New forum members have complained of mailing mister kelly money orders for .22 form dies and/or books as that link on the frontpage is still operating.

There's a lot of stuff that should be fixed .. deleted .. etc.
