Well here it is, proof positive, absolute confirmation! Big deal, we all pretty much knew how
this would go, but one note on the 38 wadcutters. I grabbed the wrong box and didn't note it until
I hit the range, I wanted to shoot some fairly fresh
Remington, instead I took an 'antique' box of Federals. I am not sure how reliable the primers and
powder were, but they all went bang and I wasn't driving a half hour home to correct my error.
For all tests a "Chrony Master F-1" brand chronograph was set 10 feet from the muzzle; all measurements in feet
per second. If anyone notes a miscalculation in the average fps of any load, well, good for you!!
